Представлена история создания и развития одной из библиотек Сибирского отделения Российской академии наук (СО РАН) – Института физики полупроводников, приведены интересные факты, описаны виды ее деятельности на современном этапе. Цель – познакомить библиотечное сообщество с работой коллектива академической библиотеки в историческом аспекте и показать необходимость научно-методической поддержки для ее полноценной деятельности.
The history of foundation and development of one of libraries of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS) – the Institute of Semiconductor Physics is briefly presented, interesting facts are given, and the types of its activities at the present stage are described. The object is to acquaint the library community with the work of the academic library staff in its historical aspect and to show the need for scientific and methodological support for its full-fledged activities.
