Статья содержит краткую историю становления и плодотворной деятельности одной из крупных библиотек учреждений науки Сибири – Института ядерной физики им. Г. И. Будкера (с 1959 г.). Представлен большой вклад сотрудников библиотеки в обширную и успешную научно-исследовательскую и образовательную деятельность около тысячи пользователей библиотеки: научных сотрудников института, аспирантов и студентов высших учебных заведений Новосибирска. 

The article contains a brief history of the formation and fruitful activity of one of the largest libraries of Siberian scientific institutions – the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (from 1959). The great contribution of the library staff to the extensive and successful research and educational activities of about a thousand library users: researchers of the Institute, graduate students and students of higher educational institutions of Novosibirsk is presented.
