   Цель статьи – представить результаты Всероссийской с международным участием конференции «Развивая науку: молодежный потенциал библиотек» и конкурса научных работ молодых библиотекарей.

   Мероприятия были организованы кафедрой библиотечно-информационных ресурсов Восточно-Сибирского государственного института культуры при поддержке Молодежной секции Российской библиотечной ассоциации. Дана общая характеристика выступлений, прозвучавших на пленарном и секционных заседаниях, проанализирована тематика работ, занявших призовые места на конкурсе в номинациях «Библиоисследование: открываем научные горизонты», «Библиопроект: от идеи до реализации».

   The purpose of the article is to present the results of the All-Russian conference with international participation “Developing science: the youth potential of libraries” and the competition of scientific papers by young librarians, organized by the Department of Library and Information Resources of VSGIK with the support of the RBA Youth Section.

   General characteristics of presentations made at the plenary and sectional sessions are given, the topics of the works that won prizes at the competition in the nominations “Bibliostudies: opening scientific horizons”, “Biblioproject: from the idea to implementation” are analyzed.
