The Formation of Library Education in Azerbaijan

Abstract

Library staff qualification is a decisive factor for effective information and library services to the population. In the article the activity of secondary and higher educational institutions specialized in the training of library staff, as it is in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the history of secondary and higher education in the country, are highlighted.
