For the first time, the share and the place of detectives in release of fiction and in Siberians reading are revealed and inter-correlated. The rating of crime fiction authors is constructed.

Comparison of ratings of the most published and read by Siberians authors of the detective genre works is carried out first.

Library science interrelations development -as a scientific branch complexly studying processes of socializing knowledge fixed in the document stream - with economic sciences is conditioned by diversification of its aspects, expansion of research fields as well as new directions coming into being in economic sciences themselves.

Scientometric analysis of publications on Semipalatinsk nuclear test site (SNTS) from the Web of Science database is presented for the period from 1983 to 2018. Based on Web of Science analytical tools, the article identifies the authors, organizations, and countries leading in the number of publications on SNTS; shows the journals where articles under investigation were published most frequently; lists scientific events at which the problems of SNTS were discussed; reveals the publications with the highest citation value.

The results of the analysis of the restriction of access to information in libraries in Russia and abroad are presented, the characteristics of countries according to the degree of restriction of the Internet are given, the causes and methods of filtering the Internet in various countries are identified.
